A gravel is well graded if Cu > 4 and Cc = 1-3. For the grain size distribution curve shown in Fig. 3.1, D10 = 0.013 mm, D30 = 0.47 mm, D60 = 7.4 mm, Cu = 569 and Cc = 2.3.
